Who We're Looking For

Summary

The program is open to international students who have completed a first degree in law from a non-U.S. law school that fulfills the academic requirements for the practice of law in that country, as well as graduates of American Juris Doctor programs. This degree is ideal for attorneys seeking in-depth training in an area of law in which they currently practice or for those planning to develop a new area of practice. The Pre-LLM Program was developed to prepare international students for success.  The Pre-LLM program enhances foreign-trained lawyers skills in US Law.  Students can complete the Pre-LLM Program over two semesters through assessment-based learning.  Upon successful completion and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, students may apply to Delaware Law's LL.M. Programs.  Students may be accepted into the Pre-LLM Program with a TOEFL of 60 or IELTS of 5.5 total.
